I know that Boston is a very old city judging from the fact it has a graveyard in downtown. But this tree really represents Boston's history - deeply rooted.

Ha ha ha - I count that as a pictorial pun.

I did that picture, but the tree sorta gives me the creeps. I think the black and white gives it a sort of ominius tone.

I really like that picture because to me it seems like you captured an ancient story. Those roots seem to say so many different things.... btw- if you live in Boston you're a lucky person... I went there recently and it is a very inspiring place to be.

you know i heard the song by counting crows that goes like this: "They paved paradise to put up a parking lot.. and took all the trees and put em in a tree mueseum and charged the people a dollar and a half to see them" Reminded me of this picture.
