In search of haunting beauty...
Did you take this picture??? Makes me want to come to Minnesota... (wow... that's a sentence I never thought I'd ever say.. :) )
Wow thats very cool, hopefully I can visit there sometime.
Aisha - that definately is Minnesota for you. In particular, it's a place called Goosebury Falls. The place is absolutely beautiful, but because of people not caring about the environment it's also very dangerous. There's a sign to the left of the falls saying that it's unsafe to swim in the water as a result of the high cauliform(sp) count; basically, too much sewage has poured into the water for it to be safe to swim. Yikes!Brent - you're most welcome to come whenever possible! :-) Just not now, we've hit the 'big freeze.'
One last thing: I did take this image!!! I took this image when I was enjoying freetime this summer. Now, of course, I don't have that freetime. Regardless, this was one of those images I was quick to throw away. Actually found it in my trash bin - later after a little color correction and a second chance, it started to look better to the point I want to frame it now! WAHOO!
