Thanks for the question at my blog. I answered it, I hope. Go ahead and ask anything like. It gives me a chance to think about my art objectively. Thank you.

And you are a photographer! And good at it.

I too think that images can easily say what it would take a great many words to explain. I like this one. A trail through the woods; and it is facing up a hill. Metaphorically, up is associated with god, positive thought and accomplishment. This photo tells a grea story of a journey through unkown into enlightenment.

Amazing capture..like walking from the completely known world into the unknown, though it seems promising.

I am not joking when I tell you that I would also like a copy of this picture!

I like Eric's take on this photo. Almost through the woods to crab apple lake! The light at the end makes the journey through the cicada filled woods worth it.

I have realized that many of your photographs depict one road, one way, one choice, one end. I believe that photos are the photographer's state of mind or subconscious materialized on paper... or whatever it is.

Therefore, your photographs tell me that maybe you are a person who is very sure of where he stands. You are sure of which road to take and you would take it over and over again if you had to.

Or is it that deep within yourself you fear actually being faced with two roads or two choices so you settle for that one way which you know the best?

This photograph reminds me of Robert Frost's poem "The Road Not Taken".

What do you say?
