When the sun is setting - the light passes through the layers of the atmosphere and paints the clouds in so many colors. See how the lower clouds are a different shade than the higher ones. The scene is indescribable - yet we all see it daily!

The coolest clouds I ever saw were from the window of a 747 at about 30,000 feet.

I was not far outside Singapore and the cloudscapes in the sky were like another world.
