Southern Minnesota used to be an extension to the vast prairie lands of Illinois and thereof. The prairie is being cleared for housing developments and to small parks which are dedicated to the 'memory' and not the 'preservation.' This image shows yet another casuality. The dark clouds are ominous. So much to say.

Niki - Wonderful that you observe that there is a firebird in the sky; I never saw that. I will have to make careful notes on that since I was looking for a high contrast effect; only to see a firebird. Meaningful!
