Photos like this make me believe that Chicago has a low standard of living. It's so bleak and dreary. There are so many trash receptacles, and yet there is still trash on the ground. The only thing that would have made this even better would be if you had captured one of the "Operation: Target RATS!" signs in the foreground.
I like this picture. I like how the light seeps through. Leave it up to ones' imagination and with time we'd all know the light seeping through is because of buildings :)
